November Learning online courses are designed to prepare teachers, students and parents to be Web literate. A full range of skills is covered including basic search techniques, advanced cross referencing of Web sites for critical thinking and community building.
The courses are composed of Modules and Lessons. Each lesson introduces a new concept, provides step-by-step instructions, activities and assessment. Many activities are suitable for immediate use in the classroom with students of all ages.

This course is designed to be a continuation of the first Web Literacy for Educators course.
Learn the various ways the Internet can be utilized as a powerful communication tool through the use of blogs, wikis and social bookmarks. Gain more understanding about the basics of Internet Safety and Web ethics. Learn how to protect passwords and help students understand the importance of how they communicate.
The course takes approximately 4-6 hours to complete.
Students will learn to work with others around the world by learning both technical and ethical skills.
