Add a new dimension to creative storytelling by combining the new LEGO WeDo robotics kit with Scratch software. At this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to connect the physical world with the virtual world, creating stories that combine LEGO robotic characters with Scratch animated characters. It’s art, design, science, and engineering all wrapped in one.

Join members of the MIT Media Lab team, including the very innovators that developed Scratch and collaborated with the LEGO Company on WeDo. Just like our morning session, this 5 to 1 ratio of presenter to participant is a mind-blowing opportunity to work intimately with the amazing inventors of Scratch. No prior experience necessary.

Location: MIT Media Lab, Cambridge, MA
Price: $250 (includes transportation)
Note: Limited to 22 – Laptops are required
Audience: Grades 3 – 12

Lunch will be provided for participants attending both the morning and afternoon session.
