About Lainie Rowell
Consultant and Trainer, November Learning, Huntington Beach, CA
Lainie Rowell is a consultant and professional developer for November Learning, Apple, and CUEtoYOU. In these roles, Lainie works closely with classroom teachers, principals and district administrators providing professional development on best practices and ways to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning. Prior to this, Lainie spent 6 years as a district-level K-12 Educational Technology Coordinator for Newport-Mesa Unified School District and 7 years in the classroom teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 6th grade.
She is a presenter at local, regional and international conferences including Building Learning Communities (BLC), Macworld, and the Computer Using Educators (CUE) Conference. Lainie is also the Orange County CUE Board Past President and serves as the CUE Communications Committee Chairperson.
Lainie has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University. She has also earned a Multiple Subject Credential and Master of Arts in Educational Technology from California State University, Long Beach where she is a guest lecturer.
Lainie is honored to be an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Teacher and STAR Discovery Educator. She has also been recognized as Teacher of the Year and was featured in OC Family Magazine as one of 10 Teachers Making a Difference.
