Dr. Howie DiBlasi has extensive experience in the education field (20 years), as a business leader (10 years) and as a Technology Director (14 years). In the many local and international conferences where he has presented, Howie conducts interactive seminars on 21st century learning, visual literacy, interactive video conferencing, digital interactive learning and more. A recent comment at the Texas Distance Learning Conference was, “I have not heard someone think that far out of the box in years.”

Howie is a Master Certified Trainer who has received certification from two national certification organizations. He is a recognized leader in 21st century education and has extensive hands on experience in training educators using 21st century technology and applications.

During his career, Howie was recognized as Vocational Teacher of the Year for the State of Arizona and nominated as a finalist in the Top Secondary Leaders in America. He has been featured in several magazines as, “…a CIO that really thinks outside the box.”

This session will increase the awareness of educators with regard to Web 2.0 resources and how to successfully use them in the classrooms.

This session will demonstrate how to use free resources to support teaching and learning while improving digital literacy.
