Cyndy is recognized for her leadership in school restructuring, staff development, and integrating technology into the curricula. Cyndy was a classroom teacher for thirteen years. She directed the nationally recognized “Community of Learners” Model Technology project in California. As a result of her efforts Cyndy was honored as a Christa McAuliffe Educator by the National Foundation for the Improvement of Education.

Cyndy is currently a Training and Development Manager for Apple. She works in both product development and training. Cyndy co-authored Apple’s Multimedia Learning and Design Tools bundle, Technology Planning Guide, various curricula guides, marketing materials and courseware. She recently managed the development of 20 teacher training videos highlighting exemplary infusion of technology in the curriculum. When she is not developing new trainings and products, Cyndy works with educators across the nation on leveraging technology to maximize student achievement. iPod Touch in the Classroom (presenting with Lester Ray)

Learning any time and anywhere is now easily possible. In this hands-on workshop, participants will discover how mobile learning can be implemented in schools. Participants will explore ways to use the iPod Touch as a mobile learning device, explore digital learning environments. No experience needed.
