An Interview with Richard Halkett – Part 4 of 6

Richard Halkett, Director of Strategy, Research and Global Education for Cisco Systems, talks about how “technology has been over promised and under delivered” in the past. Education has used technology to automate current practices, but has failed to change the processes of education. Richard discusses what is different now and how the promise of current technologies can impact the classroom. He states that “technology is finally ripe for education.”

Special thanks to Richard Halkett and Cisco Systems for their help in making this podcast series possible.
